While Steve has accepted a job in Macau, his jealous 'betrayed' house-mate goes mad and commits arson. Co-owners Sam and Mary eagerly accept Danny's offer: he and Delinda buy them out to build their dream house there. Defining the dream proves a nightmare for Danny as Delinda's dream smothers his, well above their budget. Meanwhile Ed states at first sight Ollie, the recent husband of his protégé orphan Nicole, is a worthless idiot. Ollie is caught kissing on a surveillance video, but his two explanations as well as the investigation that Danny and Mike are ordered to focus on unearth a complex scene with multiple culprits.
